Please take time to talk about our school values with your child – parents and carers are welcome partners and their contributions are encouraged and valued.
Next Tuesday, a group of local headteachers will be visiting school to quality assure our work and help governors with self-evaluation. They are not from Ofsted! They will not produce a report or publish anything about our school; it is purely an internal process. They will be visiting lessons and speaking with children, and may want to talk to parents before school.
In the last week of term we have a number of special events happening. Our Easter service is in church on Monday 8th April. Parents are welcome to attend, but please sit at the side or stand at the back of church as space will be very restricted. We will have a special Easter-themed curriculum day on Thursday 11th April, details of which will follow shortly. Some Year 6 pupils have organised a talent show on the last afternoon (Friday 12th April), and so there will not be an assembly that day.
This Easter we are inviting children to make an Easter bonnet. This should be head wear that reflects sings of Easter or Spring. We would like these to come into school on Wednesday 10th April, which is also the day of our Easter lunch. We will have a bonnet parade within school on the morning, and children will be able to wear their bonnets to lunch if they wish. The best decorated bonnets will be awarded a prize.
