Quick Sticks Hockey 13.4.16

Year 4 Hockey festival

A squad of 6 Year 4 children participated in the area ‘Quick Sticks’ hockey festival on Wednesday. Despite never having played as a team before, they did brilliantly! The conditions were horrible and they had to battle torrential rain as well as teams from 4 other schools, but they did themselves proud and played in an excellent spirit throughout. They were wonderful ambassadors for our school. As the tournament progressed they grew in skill and confidence, and beat Kirk Fenton 1-0 in their last game. Well done everyone!
