Friday News 08.03.19
Dear Parents/Carers,
Next week’s school target is remember to show consideration to everyone, in and around school.
Please take time to talk about our school values with your child – all staff are highly valued, highly motivated and part of a supportive, professional team.
Our sports day will have a slight difference this year. We will continue to hold the traditional races in the afternoon, to which parents will be invited. However, the morning activities will be organised by our Year 6 pupils as part of their sports leadership work
School is closed to pupils on 13th March as it’s Learning Review Day, you should all have booked your appointments by now, any problems please contact the office.
We are running the VERY popular book fayre outside the office throughout the Learning Review Day (13th March) so come and have a look after your meeting. The book fayre will also be open on Monday 11th March & Tues 12th March from 3.30 to 4pm. Don’t forget to bring your book tokens with you.
We will be supporting Comic Relief again this year on 15th March, children can come to school in non uniform for £1 donation, we will be having a bun sale after school so are asking for donations of buns on the day. Red noses are on sale, they are £1.25 each this year. We will also be recording the children making as much noise as possible and hope to raise some media interest ‘Red Noise Day’.
27th March is open classrooms from 3.30pm to 5pm, time for your child to show you the work they have been doing.
