Friday News 09.11.18
Dear Parents/Carers,
Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
We promote mutual respect and tolerance so that adults and children have a good working relationship and engage with British values.
Next week’s school target is to remember to follow instructions first time.
We are pleased to announce that applications to train to teach with the STAR Teaching School Alliance are now open. This year, we are running an offer of secondary courses in addition to our primary courses. Please look at UCAS or contact the alliance business manager for more details.
Well done to all the pupils who represented the school in football matches in recent weeks. The results haven’t always gone our way, but everyone participated with great enthusiasm and learnt a lot from the experience.
Our next PTA meeting is 14th November at 7pm, please come along, we would really appreciate your support.
If anyone has anything they could donate for the forthcoming Christmas Fayre could you please leave it at the office, for example, wine, tombola and items for raffle prizes. Thank you for your support.
Event on Sunday 11.11.18 – Burton Salmon village hall. Most schools are doing WW1 and they have a large exhibition of war artefacts which would be very interesting for the children. Feel free to go along.
Please see the attached letter – The STAR Multi-Academy Trust: Update October 2018.
