Friday News 12.5.17
Dear Parents/Carers,
Next week’s school target is to remember to be thoughtful and quiet as you move around school.
Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
We respect others, ensuring that every child has the right to learn and every teacher has the right to teach.
Year 1 are our top attendees this week with 99.3%, closely followed by years 2, 5 & 6 who all had over 99%. Fantastic!
Please remember that for safeguarding reasons in EYFS and KS1 we will only hand children over to known adults. If someone different will be collecting your child please contact the office so that appropriate arrangements can be made. In KS2 children may leave unaccompanied, but the class teacher should be informed if your child is walking home by themselves. Please refrain from entering the cloakrooms before and after school to help us ensure safeguarding.
We would like to say well done to Year 6 who have successfully completed their SATS this week.
Children in Year 2 will be starting their tests next week It is really important that all children attend school every day that week so that they can take their tests with their peers. We are encouraging all children to move quietly around school so that we can give all children every opportunity to concentrate on their tests and would welcome your support in helping us to ensure this.

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped out at the table top sale last weekend. The PTA raised £200, which was brilliant! We would like to especially thank pupils in Year 4 who manned a stall as part of their Archbishop Youth Trust project.
