We would like to say thank you to those parents who are bringing their children into school, for maintaining social distancing and helping us by arriving promptly during drop-off and pick up times. Please do remember that children should maintain social distancing from friends in other bubbles. Some children have reported that they find it confusing that they cannot spend time with friends in school but can hold hands with them walking home. Maintaining the same messages in school and outside school would be helpful.
We are looking forward to welcoming children from Year 1 into school next week. They will be taught in their own bubbles throughout the day. Don’t forget they have different start and end times to usual, arrive at 9.10am and leave at 3.15pm.
We know that there are a lot of messages about schools in the media at the moment, and that we have had to make a lot of decisions that people may now know about. To help with this, we have created a lengthy set of FAQs that we hope parents will find useful, this will be emailed out through Teachers2Parents later today.
