Dear Parents/Carers,
Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
We encourage interest in exploring and improving understanding of local and global communities, enabling children to contribute positively to life in modern Britain.
Next week’s school target is to remember to choose your attitude.
Mr Weight’s has attached a letter for your information regarding the PTA.
Reception to Year 5 – Flu vaccines – please complete the online as per the email sent earlier this week even if you DO NOT give consent, there is the option to tick consent or do not consent at the end of the form. The nasal immunisations will be given on the morning on 21st November.
Don’t forget about the annual beer festival at the community centre tonight and tomorrow. Tickets still available. Come along and help support our school at this fantastic event. The money raised is donated to the school and community association.
Children in Years 3 to 6 – why not try out the local Youth Club at the Community Centre in Monk Fryston, Monday’s 6.30-8pm starting 17th September, £2 entry which includes 50 pence worth of sweets and unlimited juice.
We have a collection box in the school entrance for donations to Knottingley Food Bank. Any dried or tinned food, cereals, rice, pasta etc would be greatly appreciated, please don’t donate fresh food as it won’t keep long enough.
Mrs Elcock would like to thank everyone who donated items for their outdoor area. Very much appreciated!
