Next week’s school target is to remember to look up and aim high.
Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
Parents and carers are welcome partners and their contributions are encouraged and valued.
Year 1 are our top attendees again this week with 98.6%. Fantastic!
We are delighted to share our pupil outcomes with you. All our children did really well again this year, and we continue to achieve higher than national averages. In EYFS, 73% children attained a ‘Good Level of Development’; 93% pupils passed their phonics check in Y1; at KS1 80% achieved the expected standard in Reading, 60% in writing, and 73% in Maths; at KS2 82% attained the expected standard in Reading, 73% in writing, 91% in maths and 91% in SPAG. We are very proud of all our children!
Would you like to help raise money for our children? If so, are you able to volunteer to help at the Beer Festival? This is on 15th & 16th September, and we need people to help build the site on Thurs 14th, or help at any time during the event serving food, behind the bar, on the reception desk or selling raffle tickets. Shifts last for about 2 hours and the more people we enlist, the more money we make for our school. Please contact Hayley O’Brien on 07736 280627 or complete the reply slip that is coming home today and return it to the school office.
You should have all now received your child’s school report. Could you please return the reply slips early next week if you haven’t already. Thank you.
