Dear Parents/Carers,

Next week’s school target is remember to follow the playground code and use the equipment sensibly.

We will be selling poppies and other merchandise in support of the Royal British Legion from 4th November, these will be available every morning break outside the year 6 classroom.

Suggested donations;

Zip pull 50p
Reflector 50p
Silicon wristband £1
Snap band £1.50
Standard poppy £1
Knitted/crocheted poppies £2

Please remember to book your learning review appointment to see your child’s teacher on either the 5th or 6th November, any problems please contact the office who will be happy to book the appointment for you.  Children in Years 3 to 6 need to attend the Learning Review with you.

The Healthy Child Team will be in on 26th November to administer the flu vaccines, this will only be done if you have given consent online.  Please see the email send 23/9/19.  We have also attached another copy of the letter for your information.

Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the PTA quiz on 8th November. This is always a fun event, and a good social way to get to know other people. Tickets are available through Parentpay or the Village Post Office.

As you know, our school is a no smoking site. Recently, we have noticed that some parents are choosing to smoke near the school gate at the start of the day. We would respectfully request that an alternative site is chosen for this so that smoking is not inadvertently publicised to children as they walk past – thank you.
