Don’t forget that we are still recruiting for teacher training placements. We have currently filled 50% of our allocation and anticipate that the remaining places will be taken early in the New Year. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in training to become a teacher please speak to Mr Weights about our offer.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Christmas festivities this year – supplying costumes for our plays, food for our parties, help for the Christmas fayre, contributions for our Christingle collections … the list is huge, and we are really grateful. You have helped to make Christmas special for all our children.
Thanks also to everyone who helps regularly in school, volunteering in classes, reading with children, helping in the library, supporting the PTA. We know you do a fantastic job and we couldn’t do what we do without you. We can’t mention everyone by name – but you know who you are! Thank you!
Please remember that if your child is ill and is going to be absent from school you need to telephone the school office before 8.50am, so that we can inform class teachers. We check on any child who is not accounted for and will text and or telephone if we have not received a message. Please remember that we cannot authorise absence other than in exceptional circumstances, but any planned absences should still be applied for so that we know where your child is.
Thank you to everyone who brought bags of clothing in for the Bag2school collection, we raised £96.
