From next Monday, our schools will be adopting a new policy regarding face coverings. We will expect our staff to wear them in communal areas in order to reduce transmission, but this won’t extend to classrooms. It would be very helpful if all adults wore a face mask when moving around the school site, including parents bringing and collecting their children at the start and end of the day. Thank you for your co-operation.
We are delighted with the way our children have returned to school this term. They are all showing good attitudes and have settled back into school life really well. We have noticed, though, that the changes in routine are making them generally quite tired. Please do encourage them to get plenty of rest and relaxation when not in school so that they remain healthy and have the necessary energy for their learning.
Please remind children to stay in their bubbles and play sensibly while they wait to come into school/leave at the end of the day.
Scooters – can parents please take the scooters to the bike rack near the community centre exit on their way out after dropping the children off on a morning. This will save children doubling back on themselves at the end of the day.
