Friday News 20.11.15

Dear Parents/Carers,

Next week’s school target; Remember to walk down the slope sensibly.

Thank you to everyone who made a donation to the Poppy Appeal. We raised £400.41 which was nearly £70 more than last year!!!

Bags will be sent home early next week for the bag2school clothing collection. For full details see our website.

Scholastic book leaflets were sent home earlier this week. Please place any orders online. Books will be delivered to school before we break up for Christmas. We will send a text when they arrive asking if you would like the books sending home with your child or if you would like to collect them from the office as we are aware they may be gifts.

Thank you to everyone who dressed up, put money on Pudsey Bear, baked and bought buns for Children In Need. You raised £459.84. Thank you!!!

Please remember to use Ofsted’s Parentview to record your views on our school. Governors monitor this site regularly and we would welcome feedback, both positive and negative, so that we can continue to improve the ways that we work.

Applications for places on our School Direct teacher training programme are now open. If you are a graduate and are interested in learning to teach please do consider us. Further information is available on our website.

Have you ever considered being a school governor? This is an essential role in the leadership of our school, and although it demands a commitment it is extremely rewarding. Information about school governance can be found at
