Next week’s school target is – Remember to wipe your feet after playing on the field at break times.
Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
We are central and valued within the community and the community is an extension of life in school.
Our top attendees this week are Year 1 with 100% attendance. Well done!
Open classrooms on Wednesday 3.30pm – 5pm, this will give you the chance to go into the classroom and let your child show you the work they have been doing this term.
Operation Encompass – A new initiative is being launched on 3rd April to safeguard and support children and young people who have been present, witnessed or been involved in a domestic abuse incident. Each morning North Yorkshire Police will review all reported domestic abuse records. Where recorded incidents show children, between the ages of four and 18 years of age were present, or witnessed or were involved in such abuse, the key adult in the school the child attends will be contacted and basic information shared.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported our book fair, you helped raise £514.08 for us to spend on books for our school. Thank you!
We hope that everyone who managed to get to our Mother’s Day Lunch had a lovely time, it certainly looked like you did and we know the children enjoyed it. We have had some lovely thank you messages by email and social media.
And yet another thank you to everyone who supported Comic Relief by buying red noses, wearing red and making cash donations. The children have had a lovely day and the sun shone too! We will let you know next week how much was raised in total.
Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook, lots of lovely photos being posted regularly.
