Can your family help us for an hour on Sunday 4th December? We need a large team of people to collect the residue from the firework field in South Milford: small cardboard discs (size of pound coin), plastic caps, and cardboard. All groups helping at the bonfire are providing volunteers at 10am and it would be great if our school was represented. This should only take about 1 hour; bags and gloves will be provided. If you could spare the time, please let the office know – thank you!
This Sunday is the start of advent. To help children to explore this further and prepare for Christmas we have bought them all a small advent book, which will be in their book bags. Teachers won’t check these for completion, but we would really like you to encourage your child to look at it and complete the activities. We hope this will help them to further their understanding of the Christmas story.
We have a HUGE amount of unclaimed lost property. Please ensure everything you send to school is named so it can be identified. If your child loses an item please encourage them to look in the lost property boxes in the school entrance.
There is a vacancy for a General Kitchen Assistant in our school, for further details please follow the link.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Poppy Appeal, we raised £475.45 which is our best year yet!
Don’t forget open classrooms on Thursday 7th December, 3.30pm – 5pm. This gives you the opportunity to come and have a look at your child’s work.
