Friday News 29.03.19

Dear Parents/Carers,

Next week’s school target is to remember to follow instructions first time.

Please take time to talk about our school values with your child – we are central and valued within the community and the community is an extension of life in school.

We had a very successful visit from a group of local headteachers this week. They were very impressed with our school and we were delighted that they agreed with our judgements about the high standard of education that we provide. They also suggested to governors some areas for improvement that we will consider and act upon in the coming months. Thank you to everyone who was interviewed or contributed to the process – we are very grateful for your support.

Congratulations to the team of Year 5 & 6 swimmers who participated in the area swimming gala yesterday. They represented our school very well, winning two races and coming a creditable 4th overall. Well done!

Begging plea – does anyone have a pair of ladders that we could borrow, they just need to reach our guttering so we can clear it out.  We would need someone to drop them off and then collect them again….please! Just let the office know if you can help us out. Thank you.
