This week’s school target is remember to listen first time.
Please remember to send an old pair of shoes or wellies with your child so that they can go on the field at breaktimes. We will continue to use the field as much as we can to help spread out bubbles, but inevitably this will mean that children get muddy. They can keep these shoes in a plastic bag on their peg. It would be helpful if they didn’t wear the shoes they use inside or to go home in when they are on the field.
Thank you for attending our ‘virtual’ learning reviews this week. We hope that you were able to make the technology work and found these useful. We know that there were a couple of teething issues which we will address. We really want to know your views on the process and will send an evaluation out soon. If you didn’t manage to have an appointment, please contact the class teacher who will arrange a telephone call with you.
Thank you to everyone who entered the PTA Halloween crafts competition. We had super (and very creative!) entries. These can be seen on the PTA Facebook page. All entries were wonderful and three winners were selected: Toby Cannon, Lily Stone, and Amelia Herrington. Well done!
The PTA will be organising a ‘virtual’ grotto during December. More information will be sent out soon. In the meantime, we are looking for volunteers to be the main man. This will involve dressing up and being recorded reading out a script. If you know anyone who might be interested please contact the office.
This year, we are once again supporting the Children In Need fundraising event. The theme for 2020 is, ‘Together, We Can…’ We would like to show our thanks to the fabulous work done by the NHS and all key workers over the past few months and say, ‘ Together, we can make a rainbow’. We invite the children to come to school dressed in bright clothing – the more colours, the better! They will enjoy a range of fun-filled activities, whilst also gaining an insight into how the money raised will be spent.
We suggest a donation of £1 per child, but please pay as little or as much as you can. Donations will need to be made via ParentPay we will let you know once this is available. Thank you!
