Welcome back! We have been delighted with how the children have started the school year, and are excited about the wonderful learning that we have planned for the coming months. Thank you for attending parents meetings – we hope that you find these a useful guide to your child’s experiences this year.

Thank you to everyone who supported Finlay from Y4 with his collection for Knottingley Food Bank, you helped raise a huge amount of food. We have attached his certificate showing the amount donated. We do have a crate in the school entrance all the time for any food donations, one of our parents drops the food off for them on a regular basis.
We are once again hosting a MacMillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday 29th September starting at 2.30pm. Children can come in casual clothing for £1 donation. More details to follow shortly.
Don’t forget the very popular Monk Fryston & Hillam Beer Festival is next weekend. Tickets will be on sale every day next week in the playground at the end of school. Get yours before they sell out!
