Dear Parents/Carers,

Please take time to talk about our school values for next week with your child.
We promote Christian values whilst also developing understanding and appreciation of a range of cultures and faiths so that children show respect for the beliefs of others.

Next week’s school target is to remember to be a good friend to everyone.

School Disco, Thursday 14th June, 5 to 6pm for Reception, Yrs 1 & 2, 6pm to 7pm for Yrs 3 to 6. £2 entry on the door. If any parent/grandparent is available to help supervise please let the office know asap. There will be drinks and snacks available to buy at the disco.

Open Classrooms – Wednesday 20th June, 3.30pm – 5pm, a chance for your child to show you the work they’ve been doing this term.

Quick reminder – we have a collection tub in the school entrance for any donations to Knottingley Food Bank, any tinned items, pasta, rice, toiletries etc. Any item will help but please not fresh produce as it won’t last long enough. Thank you.

The lost property is full again, please have a look to see if any of it belongs to your child.

There is a change to week 1 of the menu, the lasagne and garlic bread will be replaced with spaghetti Bolognese. Also, we are still offer the jacket potato option with a choice of 3 fillings, tuna, cheese or beans. We have trialled the baguettes this week and some of the children are struggling to eat them so next week we will be changing to breadcakes, they will still have set fillings as detailed below and will still receive the vegetables/salad bar and potatoes that are on the menu that day along with the dessert of the day.
Mon – Tuna, Tues – Egg, Weds – Cheese, Thurs – Ham & Friday – Chicken. Children who choose the sandwich option will be wearing a purple wristband, jacket potato choices will have yellow wristbands this will hopefully allow you to keep an eye on your child’s choices.
