Friday News (on a Thursday!) 26.5.16

Dear Parents,

Please remember that the school will be closed tomorrow, 27th May, as it is a teacher training day.

As you know, both Mrs Edwards and Mr Blackwood are leaving us at the end of this term. Governors are delighted to have appointed two assistant headteachers who will start in September: Mrs Val Law (who we know already!) and Miss Jessica Dales who is currently working in a highly performing school in York. We are really looking forward to them joining our leadership team next year. Governors have also appointed two other experienced teachers to our team for September. We will inform parents of all the class teachers for next year when we return after half term.

We are very sad to announce that Mrs Maddock will be leaving our school after half term to follow a new career in the NHS. Her dedication and commitment will be greatly missed, but we understand her desire to grasp an exciting new opportunity. We would like to thank her for all she has done for our pupils and wish her well for the future.
