GSHP Open Day

Thank you to everyone who attended the open day during the summer holidays to see the installation of our new Ground Source Heat Pump. This gave the chance to see the drilling in operation and talk to the site team. It was lovely to see so many people come along and take interest in the work.

The GSHP involves drilling 10 bore holes 100m down into the earth and installing piping for fluid that will be heated by the earth and circulated to a inverter in school before heating our building. The work is progressing well, and the team are currently connecting all the individual pipes into one, which then runs into our boiler room.
