As a Church of England Primary School, we have an additional inspection under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (Section 48) framework, commonly known as SIAMS. Monk Fryston was last inspected in 2018, where the inspector found that:
“The school asserts proudly ‘this is a church school’ and this is affirmed through the excellent relationships amongst all members of the school community which are rooted in the school’s strong Christian ethos”
and
“This creates an environment in which vulnerable pupils feel supported and make progress at or above national expectations. Levels of bullying are very low and are dealt with compassionately. Pupils thoroughly enjoy school and as a consequence, attendance is above national average.”

Although this was some time ago, we believe that it still represents our school today. We are proud of our high standards and the caring ethos that permeates everything that we do.
