Today our younger children had a day learning balance bike skills.  They had a great time.

Year 3 have enjoyed continuing our work on angles ths week. We have been finding acute, obtuse and right angles around the classroom (and even in our toast!)  

We have learnt lots of new skills today to help us stay safe on our bikes.  

Today has been all about gardening in Year 1. We have earthed up our potatoes at the back of the classroom, planted lots of seeds in recycled containers, and started to fill our new raised bed. Grow to school Great Yorkshire Show  

Firstly a big thank you to Elmet Lions for donating the Easter Egg .  We used this as a raffle and raised £259 for the PTA. Thank you to everyone who bought a number. As you can see from the photograph we have a very  happy winner.

A huge well done to our fantastic performers on their Spring Production yesterday! An extra thank you to parents/carers for their wonderful costumes and helping the children to practise their lines. Thank you as always for your support.  

The very popular book fayre is up and running in the hall.  Come and have a browse and treat yourself to a cup of coffee or tea.  

A huge thank you to Monk Fryston PTA who have supplied Year 4 with some new books! We opened them today and spent some time enjoying with friends.  

We are super proud of our Y4 footballers who attended a tournament today. They showed great sportsmanship and were respectful to all the other teams. Mrs Woodfine says they were an absolute pleasure to take. And….to top it off……they won the tournament!!! Well...
