Cayton Bay Trip
Foundation and Key Stage One had a fantastic time at Cayton Bay. Time was spent time on the beach building sandcastles, making sculptures and collecting shells before having a lovely picnic on the sand.
Foundation spent a little extra time on the beach learning about the importance of being safe around water. They had a fantastic demonstration from the lifeguards!
Year One and Year Two stepped into the past for the afternoon! They visited the Scarborough Fair collection and learnt how steam used to be used to power engines. They also had the opportunity to listen to traditional fairground music and ride on old-fashioned fairground rides, even braving the Ghost Train!
A fantastic time was had by all and the children were once again, a credit to our school.
