Sport Relief 2016

We had a fantastic time raising money for Sport Relief last Friday! Our Year 6 Sports Leaders did an amazing job organising a range of games and activities for all children in the school, and pupils worked in mixed-age teams throughout the morning. These activities were great fun and also raised £347.48 for Sport Relief and £113.26 for Yorkshire Brain Tumour & Research Charity. We must say an enormous ‘thank you’ to Mrs Tate and Mrs Dawber who organised the event so brilliantly. Our teachers volunteered to have wet sponges thrown at them for additional money, and although they got very wet and cold we think they all did incredibly well!
