Active Selfies

As part of our campaign to keep children active we ran a photo competition of ‘Active Selfies’. We asked children to send in a photo of them doing an activity – this could be anything, indoors or outdoors. We hoped that this would celebrate the variety of ways that our children keep themselves active and healthy, whilst inspiring others to try something new.

We have created a gallery of photos in the school library, and the best photos have been printed onto large boards that have been installed in our entrance area. Winners also got a large poster print of their photograph to take home.

We were delighted to see the wide range of things that our children do. They have certainly been very active, and because not all activities require specialist equipment there is definitely something there for everyone.
