Archbishop of York Youth Trust Awards

Each year, our Year 4 pupils undertake a programme of work towards the Archie B Young Leaders Award. This teaches them essential leadership skills and encourages them to be the change that they want to see. They keep a record of all their activities throughout the year in a scrapbook, which is then used as evidence towards achieving their Young Leaders Award.

Pupils are usually presented with their award at a special ceremony, but we were unable to hold one this year. They have now achieved their award and were presented with it in their class bubble by Mr Weights.

We took a video of the presentation. Unfortunately, the quality of the sound and picture isn’t great but we hope that you are able to see what is happening and are able to celebrate with our new Young Leaders.
