Yr 6 Mosque Visit 8.2.16

What a magnificent visit to the Madni Jamia Masjid Mosque the Year 6 children had on Monday! The visit served to cement their learning about the Islamic faith, customs and way of life. Their guide, Fatima, was super-impressed with their knowledge, understanding and genuine respect. After a guided tour of the mosque, the children all took a place in the prayer hall and discussed, not only the differences between Islam and Christianity, but the many similarities. Everyone agreed it was a really worthwhile, enjoyable trip.
