The children certainly rocked it this year for Children In Need 2019.  They looked amazing!  Raising money for a great cause.  Watch out for some of us in the Selby Times next week.

Years 1 to 6 went to church this morning for the Harvest Service led by Rev. John Hetherington.  They took food donations with them which will be taken to Knottingley Food Bank for distribution.  Thank you to everyone who sent in donations.

This Christmas, the Year 6 children at Monk Fryston Primary School have put a special twist on their class advent calendar. The children wanted to show that Christmas is a time for giving. So, instead of receiving presents each day, they have taken it in turns to give gifts....

We have over the last couple of years donated several boxes of our used books to the Zikomo Trust who take books to primary schools in Malawi.  They have also managed to set up four libraries and are in the process of starting another.

We had a wonderful Harvest Festival service in Church yesterday.  Thank you to everyone who donated food items.  All these items will be donated to The Trussell Trust Knottingley Food Bank.  You donated 159.2kg of food!
